Nicole Doppmann, born in 1993 in Zurich, Switzerland, is a Swiss-Filipina filmmaker, writer and artist. She graduated from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) with a bachelor’s degree in film.

She is driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand the incomprehensible;
human (dis-)connection, feelings of (be-)longing, as well as the surreal, absurd and magical in every day life. Besides using the medium film to capture these fleeting states of flux, she also explores them in her writing, analog photography and illustrations.

She has worked in art curation ranging from small, independent off-spaces like Mikro to well-established institutions like the Helmhaus in Zurich or the Fotomuseum in Winterthur.

Nicole is also a stick and poke tattoo artist. For booking contact her directly on instagram: @zillafinster.tattoo
